Crane barges
In January of 2011, TCBW began constructing a series of 4 ringer crane barges and a rail crane barge. The barges measure 220′ by 65′ by 12’. All the vessels were built to ABS offshore rules, but are not classed. Each barge has fuel storage for approximately 30,000 gallons of diesel fuel with piping back to the crane pedestals. The ringer vessels have a 28′ diameter crane tub to support an AmClyde Model 28 crane and the rail barge is set up for crane travel to either end of the barge. The last of the five barges was delivered in late 2013.
